Rock Creek Food Bank
Every month, the Rock Creek Food Bank serves 500 families in need — and the need continues to grow. On Sunday, June 7th, let’s come together to make a bigger impact. The amount of food we receive determines how many families we can serve. Every can, every box, every bag matters. Your donation could put meals on the table for a struggling parent or a hungry child. Bring your food items to church and drop them off at the Food Bank Building before the 9:00 am or 10:45 am services.
Let’s respond with generosity and compassion.
NEEDED ITEMS:
Canned Vegetables
Mac n Cheese
Canned Meals (soup, chili, ravioli, etc)
Peanut Butter
Pasta Noodles
Pasta Sauce (cans or plastic jars)
Freezer Bags (Quart Size)
Large Clear Storage Bins with lid (56 Quart size)
Summer Spectacular VBS
The best week of the whole year is almost here! Get registered for Summer Spectacular, our version of Vacation Bible School! Summer Spectacular is for kids completing grades kindergarten through 5th grade and happens June 8-12! Visit rcksummerspectacular.com for all the info and registration! Saturday Serve: Community Clean Up | June 13, 2026
Saturday Serve is happening on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 9:00 am, and we invite you to be part of it! We’ll be cleaning up 36th Street as we serve our community together. This is a great way to kick off the summer by gathering your Life Group, family, or friends and making a visible difference through serving.
Rock Creek Car Show
Join us for the 4th annual Rock Creek Car Show on May 30th from 8am - 2pm. All makes, models, and years are welcome! If it's got wheels, we want you to bring it. There will be food, lots of fun, old cars as well as sporty newer ones, and lots of friends. There will be 5 place winners, with a trophy for each place.
Immerse Institute

Girls Summer Bible Study
Hey girls! Life can feel loud. Between school, extracurriculars, friendships, family, social media, anxiety, comparison, and constantly wondering if we’re enough, our thoughts can spiral fast. Sometimes the biggest battles we fight are happening inside our own heads. That’s why we’re studying through the book of Philippians this summer! We will split up between Middle School (meeting on Sundays, beginning May 24th @3:30 pm in the Community Room) and High School (Tuesdays, beginning May 26th @7pm at Starbucks on David O’Dodd). Paul shows us that joy is not based on perfect circumstances — it’s found in Jesus. He teaches us how to think differently, live differently, and trust God even when life is hard. My prayer is that by the end of this study, you won’t just know more information about Philippians — but that you’ll know Jesus more deeply, think more like Him, and walk in greater freedom and confidence. Oil Change event for Single moms and widows
On Saturday, June 6, our Car Ministry will host a free oil change event for single moms and widows. If that is you & your vehicle could use some care, we would love to serve you! Simply fill out the form to request an appointment. This is one of the ways we get to love our community in a practical way.
