Christmas at the Creek Volunteers Needed

We’re looking for volunteers to help with crafts, games, food, hot chocolate, and more. Whether you can help the week before, stay after church to set up, or serve during the event, we’d love to have you on the team! Volunteer for Christmas at the Creek. 

Worship Guide Stuffers – Join the Thursday Crew!
Looking for a simple way to serve and connect? Join our Worship Guide Stuffers team! These ladies meet every Thursday at 10:00 AM for about an hour to prep the weekly worship guides. It’s easy work with great company, meaningful conversation, and lots of laughs.Ready to jump in? Register at the link provided! Volunteer to help with Worship Guides.

Angel Tree

There are almost 300 children waiting for a Rock Creek member to sponsor them! Provide Christmas joy to children who have a parent in prison through Virtual ANGEL TREE.  For $30 each, a sponsored child will receive a Christmas package with a gift card, a message from their parent, and an opportunity to request a free Adventure Bible.  Sponsor a child here!

Bikes for Kids

As your kids dream of new bikes this Christmas, why not pass on the joy by donating their old ones to our Bikes for Kids program? We partner with local experts to repair and restore bikes, making them as good as new for kids in need this holiday season! You can drop off donations during the week or on Sundays at the Cars Ministry building.

Christmas at the Creek | Family Festival + Tree Lighting
Sunday, December 7, 2025

Bring the whole family for an evening of Christmas fun at Rock Creek! From 4:00–6:00 PM, enjoy a night filled with crafts, a cake walk, bounce houses, a petting zoo, pizza, karaoke, and games—fun for all ages!

Then, stick around for our Second Annual Christmas Tree Lighting outside at 6:00 PM, as we light up our 20-foot outdoor Christmas tree together.

Everything is free, and everyone is invited!

Christmas Spectacular Light Show
December 1–31 | 5–9 PM

The Christmas Spectacular Light Show is back—and completely brand new for 2025!

The light show at Rock Creek kicks off Monday, December 1. Experience over 10,000 sparkling LED lights synced to the sounds of Christmas, running nightly from 5–9 PM (shows repeat every 15 minutes).

Enter through the main entrance off West 36th Street and follow the signs. Catch the magic through December 31!

Christmas Communion
Sunday, December 21

Join us for two special Christmas services at 9:00 and 10:45 AM! This morning will be filled with the joy and meaning of the season as we share in communion and worship together with beautiful, memorable Christmas songs.

Families are encouraged to sit and celebrate together—there will be no childcare or children’s programming during these services. To help make the morning extra special for our youngest guests, we’ll have a Christmas activity book available for kids to enjoy during the service!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Services
December 22–24

Make Rock Creek a part of your family’s Christmas tradition this year! Join us on campus for one unforgettable Candlelight Christmas service—offered three times for your convenience:

     - Monday, December 22 at 7 PM

     - Tuesday, December 23 at 7 PM

     - Wednesday, December 24 at 4 PM

This year, Senior Pastor Mark Evans will share an inspiring Christmas message that reminds us how God’s love often shows up in the most unexpected ways.

Each service will feature powerful worship through your favorite Christmas music, a meaningful time to reflect on the hope and joy of the season, and a beautiful candlelight moment to celebrate the light of Christ together.

Families are encouraged to celebrate together—there will be no childcare or children’s programming during these services. To make the experience even more special for little ones, we’ll have a Christmas activity book available during the service!
