Rock Creek's Food Bank Will provide Thanksgiving dinner to 450 families this year and we need your help to fill the shelves! On November 1ST drop your Thanksgiving food donatins off at the Food Bank building before or after the 9AM or 10:45AM service. (You can also drop them off at the Food Bank Building Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm until November 6th).
ITEMS NEEDED FOR EACH FAMILY:·
2 CANS CORN·
2 CANS GREEN BEANS
1 LARGE CAN SWEET POTATOES/YAMS
1 STUFFING MIX OR CORNBREAD MIX
1 PACKET/CAN OF GRAVY (no glass jars)
1 CAN CRANBERRY SAUCE
1 BROWNIE MIX (family size)
1 DRINK MIX (Just add water)
Schedule change for In-Tents Weekend!
We’ve heard you about the scheduling conflicts with In-Tents Weekend on October 23–24, so we’re switching things up! Instead of In-Tents Weekend, we’re trading it for an INTENSE morning of laser tag and arcade games at Main Event! This will be Saturday, October 24 from 9am-11am. Calling all 18-30 year old Rock Creek women!
We are kicking off something new just for you. Once a month, we will be having Rock Creek Young Women in the Community Room. This is a FREE event that will include "girl dinner", teaching for a short time on a woman in the Bible, and discussion at tables. Our first gathering will be October 28 at 5:45pm, and childcare will be included. Our goal is for this time to be an intentional point of connection with other young women at Rock Creek in order to build community with one another and further our understanding of how God has used women in Scripture for glory and furthering of His kingdom.
