Preschool families are invited to join us for a fun and cozy morning at Pancakes for Preschoolers on Saturday, January 31st, at 9 am! Come in your pajamas and enjoy a free breakfast, interactive music time with The Kinders, and simple activities designed just for little ones. Rock Creek Food Bank Volunteers Needed
The Rock Creek Food Bank is looking for volunteers who can serve one hour a week. Choose any day Tuesday through Friday from 10:00–11:00 AM. No heavy lifting is required — just a smiling face to greet our food bank recipients and check them in for their appointments. Christmas Spectacular Light Show
The Christmas Spectacular Light Show is back—and completely brand new for 2025! The light show at Rock Creek kicks off Monday, December 1. Experience over 10,000 sparkling LED lights synced to the sounds of Christmas, running nightly from 5–9 PM (shows repeat every 15 minutes).
Enter through the main entrance off West 36th Street and follow the signs. Catch the magic through December 31!
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services | December 22–24
Make Rock Creek a part of your family’s Christmas tradition this year! Join us on campus for one unforgettable Candlelight Christmas service—offered three times for your convenience:
- Monday, December 22 at 7 PM
- Tuesday, December 23 at 7 PM
- Wednesday, December 24 at 4 PM
This year, Senior Pastor Mark Evans will share an inspiring Christmas message that reminds us how God’s love often shows up in the most unexpected ways.
Each service will feature powerful worship through your favorite Christmas music, a meaningful time to reflect on the hope and joy of the season, and a beautiful candlelight moment to celebrate the light of Christ together.
Families are encouraged to celebrate together—there will be no childcare or children’s programming during these services. To make the experience even more special for little ones, we’ll have a Christmas activity book available during the service!
There will not be a First Thursday Prayer Meeting on Thursday, January 1st.
Unexpected
Most of us step into a new year filled with expectations… and then life throws us something we didn’t see coming. This January, join us for Unexpected, a new sermon series taught by Mark Evans, Senior Pastor, as we explore how God meets us in moments we didn’t plan for — unexpected goals, unexpected chaos, and unexpected stress. We’ll learn what the Bible says about how to move forward with courage, let God have control, and find peace in the middle of problems.
