1. What is the purpose of Reach?
We believe that the best days of Rock Creek are ahead of us. To have greater reach in Central Arkansas and beyond, we want to eliminate our debt to free up resources to put back into ministry efforts. Over the course of this project, many new ministry additions and enhancements will be announced!
2. What is the goal for Reach?
The goal for Reach is to eliminate ministry limitations that exist because of the balance remaining on our mortgage. Over 2 years, our goal is to raise $7.5 million to eliminate our debt. Once the debt is eliminated, Rock Creek will have the freedom to pour significant resources back into ministry efforts to reach Central Arkansas and beyond. The possibilities are endless.
3. Why does Rock Creek have debt?
To build out our current ministry campus, it was necessary to partner with a bank to provide financing. Rock Creek has had a mortgage on our building since it was built in 2006. Since that time, we have made regular payments toward our mortgage in the years that followed.
4. How long is a commitment to Reach?
The Reach project will run for 2 years, from November 2025 to November 2027.
5. What happens if I can’t complete my commitment?
We treat commitments as good-faith estimates, not as a binding commitment. We understand that unanticipated changes may arise that make completing your commitment difficult. If you need to change your commitment during the 2-year time frame, we can help you make that adjustment.
6. How can I see the progress made for Reach?
If you give online, Secure Give (the online giving platform used at Rock Creek) will have a feature that tracks your personal progress towards our goal. If you are paying with cash or a check, our accounting office can provide you with your current balance. There will also be an information area in the Town Square that will display our progress as a church.
7. How can I contribute?
You can give in the way that best works for you. You can make an up-front lump sum contribution, or you can make a regular commitment during the 2-year project. You can give in person or by mail using cash or a check. You can set up a one-time or recurring payment online, using a credit or debit card, through our website, churchatrockcreek.com/give.
