A free seminar and 6-week group for parents, grandparents, and anyone raising kids and teens

Screens are everywhere, and getting kids to put them down can feel like a losing battle. It doesn't have to be.

Mary Catherine Liscinski, a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor and the only professional in Arkansas certified in Technology Addiction and Digital Health, will present the seminar and lead the group.

The Seminar

Start here. In this one-night seminar, Mary Catherine will lay out what excessive screen time does to kids and teens, according to mental and physical health professionals and educators. She will also bring in what Scripture has to say about parenting in the digital age. This seminar, which explains the various damages (to brains, bodies, and relationships) that screen time causes, will be the foundation for parents who want to help their kids with screen use.

The Group

Six Sundays beginning October 4 · 6:00 PM

This group will be for parents who want to change how they handle screens in their home, and who want support in the process. Mary Catherine will be teaching science-backed solutions that help get kids off screens. These solutions also help to heal the damages described in the seminar. You'll work through the solutions in small groups, share what's working and what isn't, and encourage one another as you make real changes at home.

Who it's for
Parents, grandparents, and anyone raising children or teens. Both the seminar and the group are free.

About Mary Catherine
Mary Catherine Liscinski is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor, certified in Technology Addiction and Digital Health, and a Problematic Gaming Specialist. Licensed since 2011, she has drawn extensively on neuroscience and developmental science to develop solutions that help families take back control of screen use at home. She is the author of A Guide for Getting Your Kids Off Screens (2026), available on Amazon, and serves as a speaker and family coach. Mary Catherine has an office in Hot Springs and works with families nationwide.
