Join us for a mission trip to serve the people of Cusco, Peru, July 6-12. We're partnering with the Kiley Stuesse Mission Center in support of their "Life and Work program" and the "Next Step program."

In Peru, we will be working some with students who have finished high school and are a part of the Lifeand Work Program which prepares them for a career in the Hospitality industry. We will also be working with Next Step program in Cusco that Rock Creek fully funds. Many in the Next Step program are also preparing to start a House Church in the region.

Travel & Accommodations 

• We will travel to Peru by airline and then will utilize a passenger van to travel locally in Cusco.
• We will stay on site at the Kiley Stuesse Mission Center for the majority of the trip. We will also stay in a local hotel in Cusco for one night. 
• There will be some meals included in the cost of the trip while others will be each persons responsbility.

Do I need to speak Spanish?

No…we will have interpreters as we need them. But if you do speak Spanish that is a huge help!

Any health information I need to know?

Be aware of the altitude. Cusco is 11,152 feet above sea level. For reference, Little Rock is 335feet above sea level. We will take some time to adjust to the altitude upon arrival. Otherwise, we will explain how to be careful about drinking water, etc. The places we will stay will have filtered water system at hotel and Mission Center.

Is Peru experiencing any civil unrest?

No, Peru is not experiencing any civil unrest.

How do I stay in touch with my family during the trip?

Your cell phone should have service. Be sure to check with your carrier and add any international plan you may use to save cost.

How much is the trip?

What is the weather like in July?

Highs in the mid 60's and lows in the mid 30's

Will there be time for sightseeing or recreation?
