NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Thursday, May 5
As Christians in America we have the privilege of getting up every day and contending for the soul of our nation in prayer. But on Thursday, May 5th from coast to coast, thousands will gather in person in government buildings, schools, businesses, and churches to cry out to God in one voice asking Him to pour out His Spirit upon our nation that we might experience true revival.
The Church at Rock Creek is excited about joining believers from around the United States in united prayer for our nation. There will be multiple opportunities and venues for people to pray on the Rock Creek campus throughout the day on Thursday.
- The Worship Center will be open all day beginning at 9:00 am with soft music playing and a revolving prayer guide on the screens to assist those who wish to drop in at their convenience.
- The Prayer Rooms in the Town Square will also be available as they are every day of the week for people who wish to come and pray in solitude. Prayer guides for the National Day of Prayer will be available in each of the prayer rooms.
- Weather permitting people may also choose to do a Prayer Walk outdoors around the pond on the Rock Creek campus. The three crosses on the hill overlooking the pond provide an inspirational backdrop for those who wish to pray as they walk outdoors.
- Finally, the monthly First Thursday Prayer Meeting at Rock Creek will be devoted to the National Day of Prayer event with the service beginning at 6:30. Everyone is welcome.
